Entertainment Benefits Group (EBG) is thrilled to announce that it has earned the distinction of being named one of The Orlando Sentinel’s Top 100 Companies for 2016 – thanks to its fantastic employees and great workplace culture.
The Orlando Sentinel, a leading publication in Central Florida, has recognized companies for more than 20 years that are committed to making their organization a great place to work.
What makes the recognition particularly significant and special to us is that it came from our employees.
This year, the publication decided to incorporate an employee engagement component to the Top 100 program. Partnering with Best Companies Group – a research firm that specializes in identifying great places to work globally, the Sentinel required employees within each company to participate in an in-depth survey that measured qualities such as workplace flexibility, company leadership, career opportunities, community service, compensation and benefits.
Receiving this honor not only validates the work we do each day to deliver thousands of memorable experiences for our customers, but also celebrates the incredible team of people who make it possible.
On August 19, a group of EBG team members joined the other Top 100 companies for a luncheon at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld to accept the award. EBG won 14th place in its Mid-size (100-499 employees) category.
The day marked a special accomplishment for our organization and we were honored to receive the recognition. We are extremely grateful for our employees who work hard and are committed to making EBG great. This award motivates us to strive for excellence, grow and continuously improve in order to exceed the expectations of our customers, clients and partners.
EBG sells over 5 million admission tickets and thousands of travel experiences annually through its network of brands.
Earlier this year, we opened the doors to our new $8 million Premier Ticket and Operations Center in Orlando. Purchasing the office space marked a major company milestone, and furthered our commitment to both the City of Orlando and our longtime partners. As a top seller of attraction tickets and hotel rooms nationally, EBG accounts for approximately 3-5 percent of total visitors to Orlando annually.
