Tickets at Work made a huge splash with another amazing showing at the annual SHRM conference in Orlando. The corporate benefits platform sponsored a Tim McGraw concert, invited Gru and minions from Despicable Me to wreak havoc on the convention floor and hosted a VIP dinner and tour at Universal Studios Orlando for clients. Needless to say, the TicketsatWork booth was the place to be this year at SHRM.
As thousands descended to the annual Society for Human Resource Management Conference, many were greeted by a world famous genius, Gru from Despicable Me, thanks to Universal Orlando Resort. With him, he brought Stuart and Tim, two of his most trusted minions, to take photos with attendees at the conference, and mayhem soon followed; see it here! But that wasn’t all the fun happening at the TicketsatWork booth, attendees were playing Plinko for Official Universal Orlando Resort Merchandise from plush figures from Despicable Me, Jurassic Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and more including a private VIP Dinner/Tour of Universal Studios.
Universal Orlando hosted many of our top clients to an exclusive event that began with a fantastic dinner and special guests. On the scene to converse and have fun with everyone were Doc Brown from Back to the Future, Lucy from I Love Lucy, and the one and only Betty Boop. After photos and drinks, guests were taken on a VIP tour of Universal Studios that included a private guide that not only chauffeured them to the front of any line, but gave interesting facts about the Universal Orlando and the attractions. The night concluded at a private viewing area with desert and fireworks to marvel at Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular – 100 Years of Movie Memories.
Finally, one of the most spectacular highlights of SHRM was the Tim McGraw concert sponsored by TicketsatWork! The Grammy Award winning artist put on a concert for SHRM attendees to a packed hall at the Orange County Convention Center. Some very lucky winners who came to the TicketsatWork booth during the expo were even able to score VIP tickets to the show and had the chance to sit up front to watch Tim perform and be there as he descended from the stage to meet with his fans.
My name is Alex and I love TicketsatWork and SHRM, and left this year’s conference feeling a bit like Mr. McGraw himself, “I like it; I love it, and want some more of it!” – see you next year!
