Entertainment Benefits Group hosted an entire day of celebrations to honor a huge milestone for the company – the purchase and expansion of its new Premier Orlando Ticket and Operations Center.
The once vacant building – located at 5551 Vanguard Street off International Drive – was purchased by EBG in late 2014 for $6.5 million and underwent over $2 million in renovations.
The day kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony, where leadership from top partners Universal Orlando Resort and Cirque du Soleil joined EBG president and CEO Brett Reizen to mark the momentous occasion and celebrate their longstanding partnership with the company.
Bill Davis, president and COO of Universal Orlando Resort, spoke highly of the entertainment resort’s successful partnership with EBG stating, “We have a great partner in EBG. The last 14 years that we’ve been partners with EBG we have been thrilled and delighted not only with our growth but with EBG’s growth as well.”
Daniel Lamarre, president and CEO of Cirque du Soleil, also addressed the crowd, and shared what led to his decision to work with EBG and the company’s impact on the Orlando market adding: “Now, it’s truly a national business. If I worked with the city of Orlando, I’d be so happy today because you have an amazing ambassador in EBG.”
Strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships are at the core of EBG’s operation. At the ceremony, Reizen explained how honored he is to call these world class entertainment producers EBG’s partners and looks forward to continued growth together. He welcomed the partners into EBG’s new Orlando home stating, “Our home is your home.”
Local government officials, District 1 Commissioner Jim Gray and District 6 Commissioner Samuel Ings, also attended the event and honored EBG for its tremendous impact on the economy and decision to expand its operation in the area by declaring Thursday, March 24 “EBG Day” in the City of Orlando.
To add to the excitement, the Universal Orlando Minions joined the party by taking over EBG’s call centers. They spent the afternoon creating mischief and mayhem with employees, who didn’t mind sharing their #FunAtWork moments.
The day tapped off with a cocktail reception, where local supplier partners gathered with EBG leadership and staff to celebrate the success of the company as result of their committed relationships and continued work together.
